Carbon emissions are classified into three scopes according to the Greenhouse Gas (GHG)Protocol, the globally recognized standard for measuring and managing emissions.Understanding these scopes enables businesses to pinpoint their emission sources and developeffective reduction strategies.
Scope 1: Direct Emissions
Scope 1 emissions come directly from a company’s operations. These include fuel combustion from company-owned vehicles and machinery, on-site energy generation (e.g., gas boilers, furnaces), and refrigerant leaks from HVAC systems. In this report, Scope 1 em

Scope 2 emissions result from electricity, heating, and cooling purchased by the company.
